We run a small rabbit "rescue" It all started when the word got around that i took on some bunnies that needed new homes, most neglected and unwanted! So i got more and more people contacting me asking to take their bunnies! I Never wanted to say no, so i spoke to my mum about it, and we decided to take some more on!! when we do take on resuce bunnies its usually from bad conditions and awful owners, they are quite often ill/injured/mal-nurished/pregnant etc! Its a good feeling when you take on a rabbit, which hasnt had a good life, bring it back to health and find it a forever loving home! (its not as easy as it sounds) We are very careful about who we re-home are "rescue" bunnies too! All the bunnies that come in are quarentined for at least 2 weeks, does (females) are quarentined for 5 weeks because theres always the chance they are pregnant! If the bunnies show no sigh of illness, if their happy and healthy, they will then be put up for adoption!
Sadly due to moving we can no longer run the rabbit rescue for now!! But in the future we will definatly start up again!
